Welcome to Funky Cards and
Good morning and welcome back to My Cricut Craft Room Card Creating Tuesdays. I hope to inspire you with my work today and to encourage you to try something new! As you know, each week I will be sharing with you new cards that I have designed and adding a few tips that I have learned along the way.
Today I need to thank my friend Linda! Linda lets me borrow her Cricut cartridges so that I can look them over and use them:) Today's card was made with one of Linda's Cricut cartridges, Holiday Cakes. I can't even begin to imagine how someone can make all those tiny cuts with fondant. It looks so hard!!
This is another example of an all occasion card. I purposely designed this card with no sentiment so that it could be used as a thinking of you, happy birthday, just because, or get well soon card. There are other options too but these are just a few. I really like having cards like this around so that I can have them when I need them.

***Today's tip- Creating depth to your project.
Notice on this card that the flowers all have a bit of pop to them and that they do not just lay flat on the page. The original cut called for all flat, card stock flowers. Instead of following that design, the card stock flowers were removed and replaced with dimensional flowers. Each flower is a different color. This gives the card more interest and more pop. The dimensional flowers pop off the page and the variety of color gives the card a bit more life:) Once again, don't be afraid to mix things up! Be creative!!
