I know many of you feel as if your pets are part of your family. I can totally understand how you feel. I have two wonderful dogs, Chuck and Rocky, who I love!! Chuck will be featured in my project today.
This is a picture of Chuck when he was a year old.
He is such a charmer!!
This is a picture of Chuck when he was a year old.
He is such a charmer!!
Starting with a $1.00 frame from Michael's, a coco colored mat was made to compliment Chuck's coat.
The date Chuck came to stay with us was added to the bottom of the frame along with his sentiments about the situation,
"I ruff you."
The mat was embellished with a paw print. Using the Gypsy, the paw print was designed with images from the From My Kitchen Cricut cartridge.
Chuck actually thinks he is a cat. He catches gophers without digging holes. He waits and waits and then pounces on them! Quick and clean. He is the funniest dog:)

Your baby is sooo cute. Yes, our animals become our children don't they? Mike and I refer to our dogs as "the kids" and when we tell people that we have to get home because "the kids" have been in the house all day, or we took "the kids" for a ride, they look at us funny, knowing our real children are grown and out of the house!!
