Tropical Father's Day

My Pink Stamper Father's Day Challenge :)
Robyn at My Pink Stamper is giving away a Cricut Expression! To enter all you have to do is create a Father's Day card (a new one after she posted this challenge!) I made this card today for the FRIDAY Challenge that I started on my Funkycard Fan Page for a fan who asked me to create a tropical Father's Day card. Her father lives in Puerto Rico and likes bright colors and parrots:) Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

Graduation Explosion Box

FCCB Challenge #11: Beautiful May Flowers
My inspiration for this week's challenge is my awesome cousin, Alex. She is graduating from high school and I wanted to make her something cool. I decided on an explosion box and with the help of (Canadian Nickel Scrap'N) Nicole's tutorial, I did! This was so much fun! I hope Alex loves this as much as I loved making it for her. On the outside of the box, I copied school pictures of Alex from the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grades. I popped them up and added a heart from the Sweethearts Cricut cartridge.
Since the challenge was to include at least three flowers on the project, I added flowers to my lid along with a graduation tassel. I used the Plantin SchoolBook Cricut cartridge to make the flowers.
For the inner box, my theme was all about me and Alex. We share the middle name of Rose, so I made a Rose using the Sweetheart Cricut cartridge. I added other pictures of us from my birthday and individual photos of us:)
I loved the chip board that said, "These are the moments that I want to remember forever," so I added that as the center of the inner box.
The middle box centers around my mom, Aunt Cindy to Alex, and our dogs, Chuck and Rocky. I added frames for the pictures using the Tear Drop Cricut cartridge. I also used the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge for the Ruff Ruff and Smile.
I had so much going on that I forgot to take a picture of the outside box before I attached the middle box. But, here is a close up picture of one of the sections of the box. For the outer box all of the pictures were of all the cousins. The pictures were from times we spent together, usually during spring break. This picture has a flower I made using the Plantin SchoolBook Cricut cartridge.
This was just so much fun that I want to do it again. Thanks for looking and if you want to become a follower I would love that. My goal is to reach 50!!

Pencil/Pen Holder

FCCB Challenge #10: Bags Bonanza; Black
Well, this was a challenge! I didn't have the Gypsy that I usually borrow this week so I had to be creative without it. This was really limiting. I only had one cartridge with any kind of bag. I found this bag on my Plantin SchoolBook Cricut cartridge and decided to make my mom a pencil holder for her desk. I cut out the bag with black paper to complete the rest of the challenge (using something black). I added a bow using the Sweethearts Cricut cartridge. I just love making flowers these days so I added my black and white flowers using the Plantin SchoolBook Cricut cartridge. I put a pink gem in the middle for a punch of color. I filled the bag with pinto beans and added the pencils: I was happy with the results:) Have a great weekend everyone!

Expecting a Baby

Fab-N-Funky Challenge
Metal Mania Challenge #23

This was a really fun challenge. I had to add something metal to the card. I chose to add a clothes hanger for the baby outfit:) The outfit was made from the Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut cartridge. The ovals were made from the Plantin SchoolBook Cricut cartridge. I used my Cuttlebug for the background paper. I added a stamp of the pregnant mom:) and a Martha Stewart punch! ~Madison
Cute card Thursday Challenge #112
I had to make a card for someone special for this challenge. My mom's Godson celebrated his 1st Communion Sunday and I made this card just for him:) I used the Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut cartridge for the boy and the Plantin SchoolBook Cricut cartridge for the oval and shadow. I made a computer generated sentiment and added a cross that I made using the lower case letter "t" from the Tear Drops Cricut cartridge and cutting off the bottom. I outlined the oval with a white rolling gel pen for some added punch:)

For All My Pet Loving Friends:)
Friends Fur-Ever:)
I had so much fun with my FRIDAY Challenge, making a card with a "pun," that I decided to make another one. I got this idea from Robyn at My Pink Stamper's new Punny- licious stamp set ( ). Her stamps are so cute. She has one that says "Friends Fur-ever." I used the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge for the puppy friends and the ruff ruff:) The background paper was Cuttlebuged with the circles embossing folder. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the red paper. This was a fun card to make.

Happy Saturday:)

I just finished this card for my FRIDAY challenge over on my Facebook Fan Page! I was challenged to make a card with a "pun." I chose to use "Have An Orange And Greyt Day!" My school colors are orange and grey. I thought this would be a cute card to give to my school counselor at the end of the year to say thank you for all her help:) I used the Hello Kitty Cricut cartridge for the cheerleader. I also used the Plantin SchoolBook Cricut cartridge for the A.H.S. The Roly Poly letters do not have shadow so I just made them the same size and staggered them on the card for a shadow effect. I added the Martha Stewart punch at the bottom. For the saying, I tried a technique that is featured at this week. Check it out. It explains how you can use computer generated text to work perfectly in your die cuts. I love how it turned out. Hope you are having a GREYT day yourselves!

This was such a fun challenge! I created a scrapbook page using pictures from my recent birthday party :) I loved making this page! I used all of the elements, well all except the glass etching! I wish i could do that too though!

Angi- Flower embellishment: I loved the accordion flower so I made one and used it as an embellishment on the bottom of my page. I added a button to the center of the flower.

Brenda- Journal box: I used the Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge to create this journal box and added a shadow (Penny). I loved the idea of using lined paper, but I created my own for this challenge.

Candice- Embossing a cut out: I actually embossed several things. I added square cut outs around the corners of my pictures that I cut out from the Plantin SchoolBook Cricut cartridge. I used the Cuttlebug circles embossing folder to emboss them. I also embossed the two cupcakes. For the grey paper I used the squares Cuttlebug embossing folder to make it look like cupcake paper. For the frosting, I used the circles Cuttlebug embossing folders to look like sprinkles.

Lori- die cut negative: I added a strip of flowers using the negative cut from Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge. I wanted this strip to separate the title of my page and my picture from the rest of the page.

Nana- Gypsy: The title of my page was made using the Gypsy. I used the Designer’s Calendar and Printing 101 Cricut cartridges to create the words. I welded the words together and added the shadow (Penny) using the Gypsy.

Penny- Shadow: As I mentioned, I used the shadow on the journal box using the Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge and on the title of my page using the Gypsy.

Robin- Drawing: I needed a present for the page so I decided to draw around the present for added colorJ I used the Hello Kitty Cricut cartridge to make the gift. I colored it with Mini Sharpies and then cut it outJ.

Sammy Jo- Gems: I added green gems on the stems of my cherries for a punch of color.

Tammy- Paper piercing: My twist on this was to pierce the paper all the way around and lace it with ribbonJ I made a border and tied a bow at the top of the page.

Valerie- Food item: I added two cupcakes to the page because this was a birthday party and we were eating a LARGE cupcake that I made for my guestsJ I used the From My Kitchen Cricut cartridge to create them.

A Star is Born
I was asked to make a card for a baby boy. This is what I came up with! I used the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge and Martha Stewart paper. I was really happy with the results:)
Hope you are all having a fantastic week. ~Madison

FCCB Challenge #8

Teacher Appreciation:)

For this project I made my teacher cupcakes and I took her roses:) For the cupcakes I made a tag with an apple using the Plantin SchoolBook Cricut cartridge. I then used the Apple Chancery font to print the phrase, "A teacher can't live by apples alone!"

The roses had a card that I also made from the Plantin SchoolBook Cricut cartridge. Once again I used the Apple Chancery font to print on the card (see below). I hope she likes them:)
Card for the roses:)
Tag for the cupcakes:)

Cuttlebug Blog Challenge- :)

Birthday Invitation- Outside

Birthday Invitation- Inside
Thank You Card- Outside- For after the party
Goodie Bag treat bag- For the party

For this challenge we were asked to create a project that had at least two
coordinating items. They had to be made using the Cuttlebug:)
I made a birthday party invitation, thank you card
(inside is blank so you have lots of room to write), and tag for the
goodie bag. On all three of my coordinating projects
I used the circle Cuttlebug embossing folder. This challenge was for
beginners and I have very few Cuttlebug embossing folders.
It is challenging to work with limited supplies. I hope you enjoy the
project I came up with:) ~Madison:)

My Pink Stamper Challenge #10

"May Day"

My Pink Stamper Challenge #3

"Thinking outside of the box"

For this challenge, I had to use something I would never use. I scanned in a Kraft Cheese label from the fridge and made a cute cow saying, "got milk?" I would say this is WAY outside of the box. ha :)
My Pink Stamper Challenge #2

"A project incorporating your scraps!"

I got the inspiration to make this card with the scraps of silver paper I had left over from making my brother's graduation announcements. The cute couple is from the Cricut Sweethearts Cartridge. I had a lot of fun on this challenge!
