30 Days of Gift Making- Blog Hop

Welcome to the 21st Day of the
hosted by the wonderful Jill at The Scrapoholic

Yesterday if you have been following along, you would have visited Michelle at Scrapin With My Bug.  If you missed out on her wonderful project, it isn't to late to go back and take a look.

As you know by now if you have been following along, this unique blog hop was designed for you to take a closer look at one blog each day for 30 days of November.  Each day you will find a holiday gift idea.  Today, I am sharing packaged thank you notes.  After the holidays it is probably safe to say that many people will be in need of thank you notes.  So, a thoughtful hostess gift, stocking stuffer, or gift for a friend might be a package of thank you notes:)

This is a 5-pack of thank you notes that comes in two different sizes.  Three of the cards are smaller notes for those who want to write just a quick thank you and two of the cards a larger notes for those who have more to say.

These are the different sayings that are on the thank you notes.  The last one got cut off in the picture.  First, each sentiment is typed onto a 8.5" x 11" piece of paper.

Next, circles are cut out of card stock and placed over the sentiments (attach a small piece of double sided tape to the back of the circle).  The sizes will vary depending on how big you want to make your notes and what sayings you use.  Here the circles are: 1.5", 2", 1.5", 1.75". and 2".

Now run that paper through the printer and the sentiment will appear on the circle:)  You must be careful never to let the tape go through without card stock covering it.  This is bad for the printer!  To shadow the circles, cut out brown card stock one size bigger for each circle.

To finish of the notes, add a flower and a bow and some stitching.  These packaged cards will be on sale at my holiday craft show for $10.00.  If anyone is interested in purchasing a set, just leave me a comment and I will be in touch with you.  I make many different styles and designs.  This is just one of many:)

Tomorrow, you will be visiting Christy at Ladybugz-Creations

30 Days of Gift Making- Blog Hop

Welcome to the 15th Day of the
hosted by the wonderful Jill at The Scrapoholic

Yesterday if you have been following along, you would have visited Jessica at the Creative Stamper's Spot.  If you missed out on her wonderful project, it isn't to late to go back and take a look.

For this blog hop we could either make something to give away, something to sell, or something to decorate the house with for the holidays.  I decided to design a luminary to decorate the fireplace mantel.  I made a set of three luminaries using velum, the Cuttlebug and the Gypsy.

Here is a close up of the luminary-

The colors did not show up on the photograph.  The snowflake is actually blue.  It looks really pretty.

Recipe:
Winter Woodland Cricut Cartridge- Welded Reindeer Border (using the Gypsy)
Pink By Design- Snow Flake Stamp- Simply Everything Stamp Set
Swiss Dots Embossing Folder- Velum Paper

Please make sure when you create luminaries that you use battery operated candles.  You do not want to use real candles next to paper to and create a fire hazard.

Tomorrow, Day 16, you will be visiting Kelly Jo at Kelly Jo's Kreations.  Kelly Jo always has fabulous projects waiting for you so don't miss out!

Thank you for stopping by.  It is not too late to check out my E-Craft show.  I fully support myself with donations and money that I earn selling cards to play club volleyball.  I just found out that this year tuition is $2,000 and I have raised $1,500.  I am currently having a E-Craft show to raise additional money.  Click HERE to check out the details.  A BIG THANK you to those of you who have already supported me:)

Cooking With Cricut- Holiday Blog Hop

If you are looking for the A Thanking We Will Go Blog Hop, Click HERE.

Welcome to Funky Cards and the Cooking With Cricut  Holiday Blog Hop!

If you've come from visiting Kristal's blog you're in the right place!  If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our fun hop, you can go to the  Cooking With Cricut blog and start at the beginning.

The holidays will soon be here so this is a perfect time to be inspired by our design team.  Each crafter has designed an awesome project to help get your creative juices flowing.  So pour a cup of coffee, sit back and enjoy the projects that have been made just for you:)  Along the way each DT member will offer PRIZES and in addition, Cooking With Cricut will have EVEN MORE PRIZES including...

***Assorted Bazzill Cardstock, A Cricut Preserves Cartridge, and TWO $10 download vouchers for digi files from Page-Kits.com.

I come from an Italian background and my mom loves to share her Italian culture and traditions with me and my family.  I thought it would be a fun idea to create a project that could include Italian recipes that could be passed down from one generation to the next.  With that in mind, I contacted two special relatives of mine, Dorothy Prosperi and her daughter, Diane Massetti, and asked them to come up with a Christmas Dinner menu that I could turn into a keepsake.  This menu is now a never ending card and one that anyone could make using their own recipes and give to a family member to keep and enjoy for years to come.

For directions on how to make a never ending card: Click HERE

Merry Christmas- Tis The Season
Celebrating Italian Style

This is the front cover of the menu.  Here you will find a recipe for the appetizer, Italian Quesadillas.

This shows what the menu looks like as you are opening it from one page to the next.

As you open the card, you will find the recipe for a Maui Poppy Seed dressing to go with your salad, as well as a spinach gratin vegetable side dish.

Moving to the next page you can find the main course.

This panel shows the main course, herbed chicken breasts with cheese.  Are you hungry yet?  We have dessert and drinks to go so get ready to turn the page again!

And now you can see that for after dinner there will be Italian Amaretto and Chocolate Amaretti Cake.  Now that sounds good:)

From here, the card folds back to the beginning, thus making it a never ending card.

Wouldn't it be great to be able to save your favorite Christmas dinner recipes in one place?  Well, now you can.  You can make a cool menu like this.  It is fun, easy, and it makes a great gift if you want to pass your recipes down to your kids:)  Hope this inspires you.

****Blog Candy Alert****

I am happy to announce that I am giving away a chance to win a "Puppy in a Present" (cutting file or digital stamp) your choice.
