Welcome To Funky Cards
I would like to show you several projects I made using cutouts from the Formal Occasions Cricut cartridge. In addition, my first project will include a Bible verse as National Bible Week is approaching.
National Bible Week is celebrated each year from Sunday to Sunday of Thanksgiving week. This year the celebration runs from November 24th -28th.
"with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."
One nice feature on the Formal Occasions Cricut cartridge is the variety of banners like the one used above. The Bible verse was computer generated and added to the cut out. It was also inked for added interest and pop.
Another feature on the Formal Occasions Cricut cartridge is the ability to make really cute Winter Formal invitations and party favors. The sky's the limit with this cartridge when it comes to doing scrapbook pages for high school dances.
My friend Peter and I took this funny picture and I made him this keepsake from the dance using the Formal Occasions Cricut cartridge. You can use colored card stock to match the colors of your dress and his tie. I really like how this turned out. You can really personalize your project.
I had a lot of fun with this cartridge. Thank you to my friend Linda, who once again let me borrow this cartridge so that I could create these projects!! You ROCK Linda:)
Thanks for stopping by!
