pictures and memories all about ME! She asked
me to do this for her. She really wanted a mini album of
photos of me when I was just a little girl.
Here is how the project started. I pre-cut the pages before I design
them so I know how much space I will have.
All the pages follow a similar color scheme- pink, black and white. I prefer this with an album of this length.
The embellishments change on each page.
The background of the paper was stamped before it wasembossed.
Each page has at least one picture, black ribbon, and an embellishment.
On each birthday page, there is a flower to represent the number of years I am celebrating. So this page has one flower.
Using twine with buttons gives a project added dimension.
Turning two, so this page has two flowers:)
Try putting the ribbon over the photo for a different look.
Three flowers for a three year old.
The background paper is embossed with many different folders.
All the letters for this project were cut from the
Kate's ABC's Cricut cartridge.
Finally four, so four flowers for me:)
The "Pocket full of memories" for my mom holds a tag that I made her that says "I Love my mom." It also holds wallet size school pictures. This was a really fun album to make.
I love how it turned out and so does my mom!!! I hope I have inspired you to make one:) Maybe you can work together with your mom!!

Love the album, Great job. One of my fav. memeories as a a child was making mud pies in the back yard and expecting my dad to actually eat them. I guess since I would eat some while making them...loved the smell of wet dirt. Think I still do...LOL!!! Best times, were when I was a small child.... TFS!

I love how you kept everything uniform in color, how you used different embossing and the flower idea is great. I think you should add to it up to present times...don't just stop at 4! You might have to use mini flower brads for flowers :D Great job on your mini album...I love it and I bet your Mom did too. Thank You for sharing in the hop.

Comment #2 I forgot childhood memories...We usually went to Lake Michigan for a picnic for our family activity. We went to a park called Tunnel Park...from the picnic area there was a tunnel through the sand dune to get to the lake and it was fun to make noises in the tunnel because it echoed :D

I forgot to say my favorite childhood memory! I come from a very large family of 9 children, one day as we all sat around the dinner table, music playing in the background...an old song: Cecilia! My little brother starts tapping his knuckles (drummer), others started tapping their feet and drumming their fingernails. We all looked up at each other and broke out in song! My mom & dad laughed their heads off! It was hilarious!
