I really had to think outside of the box for this. Vintage is tough for a 16 year old! Here is the card I designed and created.
I designed this with color in mind. I wanted to stay away from bright red and pick color combinations. I saw red and black and swirls when I thought vintage. I found this paper at Michael's and I already had this stamp. I thought with two simple hearts I could make an elegant looking card. I used the Simply Sweet Cricut cartridge to cut two hearts (2.5" and 1.5"). I used the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder to emboss the hearts. I added some black gems and a black bow for the finishing touches!
***Leave me a comment and let me know what you you think of my vintage Valentine card. If you leave a comment and become a follower I will enter you in my contest for a chance to win a package of my Funky Cards Thank You notes:)***
Now it is time to head over to Jenn's blog to see what this creative Scrappin' Little Turtle has designed for you:)

ReplyDeleteHi, Madison! I think your card is perfect! It feels vintage but not antique if you understand what I mean. It's very sweet and I love that you used darker tones rather than the normal pinks, reds and whites. Great job, 16 yrs old or not! P.S. I played volleyball in high school too! ;o)
