Hearts and Flowers
Your challenge this week is to create something for your beloved. Valentine's Day is just around the corner. This week the Cooking With Cricut Design Team is here to inspire you with projects designed with hearts and flowers:) My project is a topiary made with paper flowers:)
I have never made a topiary before. I was inspired by one that I saw in a blog hop this weekend. For my topiary, I used the Simply Sweet Cricut cartridge to cut 1" and 1 1/4" flowers. These flowers were embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder and attached to a styrofoam ball with a sewing pin. The styrofoam ball was attached to the flower pot with a coffee stir stick. The stir stick had been wrapped with red ribbon. The grass is made of scrap green flannel material and is used to hold everything in place. Of course there had to be some chocolate kisses:)
It is time to see what the other Design Team members have cooked up for you this week. Head back to Cooking With Cricut and get ready to be inspired:) Then head to your craft room and see what you can cook up for your beloved!! You have until next Tuesday to enter our challenge for a chance to win a great prize. Have a wonderful Valentine's Day.
Thank you for stopping by!
