Welcome to Funky Cards and the Cooking With Cricut Sweetshop Blog Hop!
If you've come from visiting Karla you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our fun hop, you can go to Cooking With Cricut and start at the beginning.
With Valentine’s Day just a few days away we are sharing some wonderful ideas and inspiration for you! Make sure to check out each stop along the way. Every DT member will be providing a special letter for you to collect. These letters will spell out a phrase for you to enter into a special comment section at Cooking With Cricut once you complete the blog hop.
I started my project with a Christmas tin and altered it into a Valentine's treat box:)
I added a red ribbon and attached the paper to the top of the tin. Next I added Cricut cut outs: Hugs & Kisses and the man and his sweetheart from the Sweethearts Cricut cartridge. Around the sides I cut out and attached red card stock which had been embossed using the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder. Here is the “secret” letter you need to collect to be eligible for a prize package at Cooking With Cricut. P. Hearts from the Simply Sweet Cricut cartridge circle the tin:)
My second project was a matching card. The card started with a pink background embossed with the Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder. The same red ribbon was added to the card that was used on the tin.
The word L O V E and a flower were added to finish off the card.
The treat box/tin was all ready to fill. I just needed to make my favorite treats, Ginger Snaps! It smelled amazing in here!! These are so good:)
***Blog Candy Alert***
I hope you were inspired by my project:) Here is your chance to win a fantastic prize. The rules are very simple. Just become a follower of my blog and leave me a comment (comment form is at the top of the post) letting me know what you would want to find in this tin if I made it for you:) In return you will have a chance to win either the cutting file or digi stamp of...
The Queen of Hearts:)
Next stop... Maria Elena. Time to see what she has in store for you today.
