From Blue to Cool!

Welcome to Funky Cards
and another "Yes I painted that" project!

This is my first week of summer vacation. I am teaching VBS this week and having a blast. I will be posting a cool sign I made for my group using the Cameo in an upcoming post. Today though, I am going to show you what I did to a plain blue tank top. When my youth group goes to camp this summer, we will be wearing red, white, and blue so I needed to make a few changes to this tank top I bought.

Before I started taping it off, it was just a plain blue tank top with a pocket.

White stripes were the first to appear.  I think you may know where this is headed:)

Then come the red stripes.  Of course this is being done with fabric paint.  You can purchase fabric paint at Michael's.

Using the Cameo, I created a stencil for the stars.

It was then easy to dab the paint on and create this effect.  I love how easy this was!

I am ready for camp!  Go USA!  I will have my own unique tank top for under $10.

I will be linking this to:

Thank you for stopping by!  Have a fabulous day.
