One Year Anniversary
I Feel the Love Project
Hopefully you have had a chance to see the fabulous list of sponsors that I have gathered for our 1 year anniversary "Thank You" party. You can see that they are not all from the crafting field. Today I want to tell you a little bit about our first sponsor and why she is an important part of our group.
Ms. Karen Kingsbury- Ms. Kingsbury is a USA Today and New York Times bestselling author. She has graciously agreed to donate her book "Unlocked." There is a very special connection between this book and our "I Feel the Love Project" recipient for the month of August, Ms. Kate McRae.
Ms. Kingsbury has a special project in her books called Forever in Fiction. She offers this project as a fundraiser and in turn she will write characters into her books inspired by real-life people. In the book "Unlocked," the character Kate MacRae is based on our precious Kate! Over two hundred people donated over $100 each so that Kate could become a character in this book. The money raised was used to help pay Kate's medical bills. How awesome is that?
To be eligible for a chance to receive this book as a gift, simply link any or all projects that you previously made for the I Feel the Love Project during our first year to our June Photo Gallery. You have until June 30th.
I would really appreciate it if you could head over to the new I Feel the Love Project blog and become a follower!

Be sure to stop back by tomorrow as we begin our look back at our first recipient of the IFTL Proejct, Ms. Jill Pentoney.
Have a wonderful day.

How awesome it that!? Thanks for letting us know the connection Madison! :0) and thanks for the chance to win this amazing book! ( and the other prizes too!)
ReplyDeleteAgain what a wonderful thing you do here. I have yet to get a card ready for you but it is my goal to get all your summer recipents cards done..WONDERFUL WORK!
ReplyDeleteMadison,
ReplyDeleteReading your blog is gonna be tough this month. When 2 of the recipients passed away and went to be with the Lord, it nearly broke my heart. But without a doubt the good out weighs the bad in this program. I have been trying to teach the children I know to give without expecting anything in return and it is very hard to do. Though, seeing that you have grasped this concept gives me hope that the children I am trying to reach may figure it out also. Thank you Madison, for being such an inspiration.
Lots of Love,
Sherry
