Disney Pixar Blog Hop

Welcome to Funky Cards and our 2nd
Disney Pixar Blog Hop!

If you arrived here from Jenny's blog, you are in the right place, if you happened here by chance, please head back to the beginning by clicking on the DISNEY button above so you don't miss any of the adorable Disney projects today:)

I am so excited to be back as part of this blog hop.  Who doesn't love Disney?  I had an idea to create a growth chart for a toddler's bedroom and it was so fun to make:)
I know not everyone can stay in the same home as their children grow, so what happens to the special marks you make on the wall when you leave? Well, how about taking them with you?

"How Tall Are You"
On this growth chart you are able to record your child's name, date, age, and how tall they were on that day!

Winnie the Pooh is a removable marker that tells you how tall your child is at the current time:)  He is held on by two way tape.  You can choose to remove him and replace him with a smaller Pooh or decorative honey pot or you can keep him there and just keep adding more Poohs as you go!!  It is up to you!  As you chart your child's growth, the growth chart will become more decorative:)

You can start the chart at whatever measurement you would like, but remember to hang it from the floor at the correct height!

When you are finished with the chart you can take it down and save it as a keepsake so you will always know how tall your kids were at any given age:) I didn't write on mine so that it can be used!!

**BLOG CANDY**
PLEASE NOTE THAT MY COMMENT SECTION IS AT THE TOP OF MY POST NOT THE BOTTOM.  YOUR COMMENT NEEDS TO BE ON THIS POST TO COUNT:)  THANKS...Now for the rules and prize:)

I am honored to once again have Papercraftingworld.com as my sponsor for this blog hop.  This awesome website has so many adorable digi stamps and cutting files:)

  23. Love your growth chart--my 5 year old still has to measure himself every time we walk by one at school! :) I am pretty sure I can't count high enough to tell you how many Disney movies we own. I started collecting videos before we were even married or had kids. Then DVDs. Then Blue Rays. We always watch them when we are home sick and during every break from school we'll have Disney movie marathons. :)

  121. That is fantastic. I love it. I am sure my mom would have loved to have one of these when we were growing up. Back then they didn't have one and every once in awhile she would have us stand against the frame in the doorway and make a notch with a knife on the corner of that frame. (I am sure our landlord would have loved it if she had one too!) Any ways, if you ever go into an old house and see all these notches going up a door frame, you'll know why.

  123. You are so right about people not staying in the same home forever so this project is perfect. It would also be perfect for a classroom. I could laminate it and mark it with vis-via and then wipe it off and reuse year after year.
