Cooking With Cricut - Easter

Welcome to Funky Cards &
Cooking With Cricut Challenge #26- Easter
As we count down to Easter Sunday many of us have our own way of celebrating this day. So Happy Easter to you however you spend your day!  I have created this cute bunny card with cuts that I have received from a recent cut swap.  I thought it was fun to put together a card with someone else's cuts.

The basket, bunny and eggs did not all come from the same person:)  Are they yours?  They could be if you participated in the swap hosted by Candace from Papercrafts By Candace.  The cuts were all Easter and spring related and the swap was really fun.  I hope Candace does this again really soon. HINT, HINT!!!

I will be celebrating with a wonderful church service to be held outdoors at our high school football stadium.  How cool is that?  We are having one big service this year rather rather than the three services we have each Sunday.

(1) But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared. (2) And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb, (3) but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. (4) While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. (5) And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? (6) He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, (7) that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.” (8) And they remembered his words, (9) and returning from the tomb they told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest. (10) Now it was Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and the other women with them who told these things to the apostles, (11) but these words seemed to them an idle tale, and they did not believe them. (12) But Peter rose and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths by themselves; and he went home marveling at what had happened.  Luke 24:1-12

  1. This is so sweet! Isn't it amazing how well the different cuts go together when they came from 3 different people! I'm so impressed!
Thanks for sharing how you will celebrate Easter. I find it interesting to learn of non-traditional celebrations - but celebrations none-the-less!! Happy, happy Easter to you!

  2. Madison, the more I look at your blog the more I'm amazed by the awesome young lady that you are. It's inspiring to see a young person not afraid to share the gospel. My daughter is 19 and I think you two are probably a lot alike. She loves the Lord with all her heart, soul, mind and strength. Like you, we will be spending our Easter at our church. You have a lot of followers and God has blessed you with tremendous talent. Through your blog, He has given you the opportunity to not only share your talent but also your love of Jesus Christ. What an amazing opportunity.
    Have a Happy Easter!
