Congratulations DALTON!

Today, January 14, 2011, my blog is dedicated to my brother Dalton
as he officially becomes a sailor for the United States Navy:)

A special thank you to all the men and women who are serving in the military!

After a lot of hard work and training, DALTON is graduating today from basic training.  We are so proud of him.  Dalton has done an amazing job in the short time he has been there and he has been promoted twice.  DALTON will be leaving basic training and starting his "A" school as an E3:)  Way to go DALTON!!

I designed this card for this special event.  I hope DALTON loves it.

Thanks so much to all of you who have sent such supportive comments to both my mom and I over the past several months!  You know who you are:)  They have really meant so much to us.

Thanks for stopping by!

~Madison

  5. Congrats to your brother, Madison! I will keep him and your family in my prayers. Please convey to your brother and your family my heartfelt thanks. It takes someone very special to stand up and selflessly serve their country -- and it takes a very special family to raise and support that person.

  18. Brenda, I used a cartoon that I altered. First, I scanned it into my computer. Then I erased the neck and head but left the hat. Next I printed it and cut it out. Next, I cut out an Every Day Paper Doll head and made my own neck. I added the hat back in and it came together nicely:) Best of luck to your son. Thank him for me too!
