Jess' 34th Birthday Celebration Blog Hop

Welcome to KinderStampO's 34th Birthday Celebration Blog Hop:)

The hostess of this blog hop is the birthday girl, Jess of KinderStampO.  Happy Birthday Jess!  If you arrived here from our birthday girl Jess' blog, you are in the right place.  If you happened here by chance, you may want to head back to the beginning so you don't miss any of the great projects.  Click HERE.

I love making birthday cards and as you know I am all about making cards with things I don't have!  If you have been following my blog you will know that I have been trying to challenge myself to create projects by trying to be resourceful.  In this case, I wanted to try to make a card using a punch, even though I didn't have one.  Now how was I going to do that?  Hmmmm?  Lots of thinking outside the box for this one!!!  Well first here is the card I made:
Doesn't this card have the appearance of a punch at the bottom under the ribbon?  Any ideas as to how I did this.  Well before I tell you, think I about it...... Ok, do you give up?  Well, I am sure you guessed I made it myself and I did.  I used my Gypsy and the From My Kitchen Cricut cartridge to create this border and cut it out all at once on the blue card stock:)

Here is what it looked like on the Gypsy.  Of course once you add the adorable robot cut at 3" from the Robotz Cricut cartridge and the Happy Birthday sentiment, you have an adorable birthday card for a little boy.  Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think:)

I hope you were able to stop by and check out all the fantastic blogs today.  I am the last stop on this wonderful hop. Be sure to wish our hostess a very happy birthday.
Thank you for stopping by!
~Madison

  1. Lovin this! A while back I was looking for a birthday card for a friend. I had zero luck finding what I was looking for. I told a group of friends about this problem one night while we were having a few drinks. We proceeded to get smashed and make up a bunch of greeting cards we found funny. I had been writing down the cards we made up and the next morning I read them. Much to my surprise the cards were still funny even when sober.
