Cooking With Cricut: Cricut Pens or Sun Die Cut

Welcome To Funky Cards and
Cooking With Cricut-
Sun Die Cut

Thank you for stopping by today to check out this week's challenge.  For this week's challenge, you can either use your Cricut pens or a sun die cut. I chose to use a sun die cut for my project.

Last week I attended the Ustream broadcast for the latest release of the Pink By Design stamps.  During this broadcast there was a project that we all made.  It was a treat box.  I decided to use this project for this week's challenge.

You can get the directions on how to make the treat box by clicking HERE. I used the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge to cut out my sun (2.25").

The computer generated sentiment says, "You brighten my day." I added gems and googly eyes to make it extra special and a bit more colorful.  I punched holes in the top and thread the ribbon through so that it can open and close.

To make the flowers I first painted the stir sticks green and then attached them, using a small bit of adhesive with my ATG gun, to the actual flower.  I hid wrapped candy in the bottom of the container to hold up the flowers:)

I am going to give this to one of my friends this summer just because:)  I love doing that!

Please be sure to visit the Cooking With Cricut blog to see what the other design team members have cooked up for you. You have until next Tuesday to enter this week's challenge for a chance to win a fabulous prize. Click HERE to enter.

Have a wonderful week!
