How are your projects coming?

Welcome to Funky Cards

Today is June 14th and there are now 16 days left to submit your card to the...

"I Feel the Love Project" for June.  My hope is that you will join me in spreading the love one card at a time by submitting 1 card to my project for someone experiencing a personal life crisis.  It only takes just a few minutes to help make someone else's life a bit brighter.  I bet by doing this, your day will be a bit brighter too:)
Ms. Pentoney is the recipient of our cards for the month of June.  Additional information about Ms. Pentoney can be found by visiting her blog, Kicking Cancer's Butt, My Cancer Journey, Round Two.

You can link your card to the photo gallery by clicking HERE and you will find the mailing address to submit your card by clicking HERE.

If you have any questions you can email me at: funkycards @ charter dot net (no spaces).  You can also use this email address to submit a head shot of yourself if you would like to be included on the project team photo page.

I did not set a goal for the first month but it would be nice to get as many cards as possible between now and June 30th for this very deserving teacher.  She is battling cancer for the 2nd time and she is a true fighter.  Please consider taking time out of your day to make a card to send!!

Thanks so much to those of you who have sent cards in so far.  It is fun going to the Post office!!  Thank you all for stopping by today!

  2. Madison, I'm sending mine out on Wed. Sorry, I know I posted what I created last week. Life happened and then I cut the palm of my right hand and "should've" had 7 stitches & didn't. I couldn't write nice and pretty on the card. LOL She's an English teacher and I couldn't have something ugly going out to her with my atrocious penmanship. LOL

PS, My 9 yr old made a bookmark for her by using glossy paper & alcohol inks.
