Little Hop of Horrors Blog Hop!

Welcome to the "Little Hop of Horrors Blog Hop" hosted by
the wonderful Nicole at Canadian Nickel Scrap'n.

If you found your way here from Liz' awesome blog, then you are in right place.  If you happened here by chance you will want to start back ay the beginning so that you don't miss any of the SPOOK- tacular creations that await you!  Click HERE to take you back to the beginning.

First, I want to give a shout out to our wonderful sponsors!  They are offering some great prizes for this hop so you will want to make sure to hop all the way to the end!!  Check out this awesome list:

Simply Betty Stamps  Set of 6 Halloween Digi’s

Tickled Pink Stamps Lil Lolita Halloween Digi’s

Tiddly Inks $10 Gift Voucher

Scrappy Moms Stamps Haunting we will Go stamp set

My Pink Stamper Stamp Set

The Greeting Farm  2 Halloween Digis

Scrap Hut October 31st Cricut Cartridge (North America Only)

Now for my design:)  I made a three piece project creating a party invitation with a coordinating thank you card and matching goody bag tag (filled with home made painted cookies).

The theme of the my project is TRICK OR TREAT and you will see on each item that the words TRICK OR TREAT are written in the same size and font.

The outside of the invitation says, "TRICK OR let us TREAT you to a spooktacular evening!  The little critters are trying really hard to be scary with their Halloween masks:)  Did they scare you? Of course they are cut from the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge.  The masks were hand made and cut to fit each animal.  The googly eyes were added last.  The sentiment was computer generated  and popped up with pop dots.  The black card stock was punched with the Martha Stewart Scalloped Dot Punch while the orange card stock was embossed with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing Folder.

The inside of the invitation says, It's Time For: "A Night You Won't Soon Forget."  Scared Yet?  The chicken on the inside is looking mighty scary there!!  Ok, maybe not.  I don't think it is possible for these little guys to scare anyone:)  They are just too cute:)   The party information is listed here.  The same Martha Stewart Scalloped Dot Punch and Swiss Dot Embossing Folder were used to create the inside of the card.

***Regarding Party Invitations*** - If you are running short on time or if you just prefer to do it this way, you can make just one invitation and send it out by email.  Take a picture of both the outside of the invitation and the inside of the invitation and set the pictures side by side in an email.  Send this email to all of the people you are inviting to your party.  This way you only have to make one invitation and you can send out all your invitations at once and postage free!  Just a thought:)

This is where you can be creative! My last name, as some of you know, is Womack.  So in an attempt to be punny my thank you card says, Thank you for TRICK OR TREAT-ing and the "GLOW"-macks.  The thank you card could be sent to the people who helped with your party and/ or brought snacks or gifts.  The thank you card ghost was cut from the paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge and embossed with the Cuttlebug Divine Swirl Embossing Folder.  **You will notice that the invitation also says that the party is being held at the "Glow"-mack's.

What is a party without treats?  Here is a coordinating goody bag tag for this goody bag.  The tag also follows the TRICK OR TREAT theme.  It says, "TRICK ... most likely OR TREAT... Not!

The goody bag contains homemade painted cookies using edible paint.

The monkey was cut from the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge and his broom was cut from the Everyday Dress up Cricut cartridge.

**Remember, it is always best to use clean, new brushes when painting edible cookies or any edible food.    Click HERE, HERE, and HERE for directions on how to make edible cookie paint.

***Speaking of food, it is time for BLOG CANDY!***

Thank you so much for hopping by my blog today! Now is your chance to win a few prizes that you can use to make your own cards.  I am offering ribbon,  2 ink pads, googly eyes and a stamp:)  All you have to do to win is become a follower of my blog and leave me a comment about today's project.  The winner will be chosen by random generator.  I read all the comments!!  This is really fun for me:)
