Welcome to the "Little Hop of Horrors Blog Hop" hosted by
If you found your way here from Liz' awesome blog, then you are in right place. If you happened here by chance you will want to start back ay the beginning so that you don't miss any of the SPOOK- tacular creations that await you! Click HERE to take you back to the beginning.
Now for my design:) I made a three piece project creating a party invitation with a coordinating thank you card and matching goody bag tag (filled with home made painted cookies).
The theme of the my project is TRICK OR TREAT and you will see on each item that the words TRICK OR TREAT are written in the same size and font.
The inside of the invitation says, It's Time For: "A Night You Won't Soon Forget." Scared Yet? The chicken on the inside is looking mighty scary there!! Ok, maybe not. I don't think it is possible for these little guys to scare anyone:) They are just too cute:) The party information is listed here. The same Martha Stewart Scalloped Dot Punch and Swiss Dot Embossing Folder were used to create the inside of the card.
***Regarding Party Invitations*** - If you are running short on time or if you just prefer to do it this way, you can make just one invitation and send it out by email. Take a picture of both the outside of the invitation and the inside of the invitation and set the pictures side by side in an email. Send this email to all of the people you are inviting to your party. This way you only have to make one invitation and you can send out all your invitations at once and postage free! Just a thought:)
This is where you can be creative! My last name, as some of you know, is Womack. So in an attempt to be punny my thank you card says, Thank you for TRICK OR TREAT-ing and the "GLOW"-macks. The thank you card could be sent to the people who helped with your party and/ or brought snacks or gifts. The thank you card ghost was cut from the paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge and embossed with the Cuttlebug Divine Swirl Embossing Folder. **You will notice that the invitation also says that the party is being held at the "Glow"-mack's.
What is a party without treats? Here is a coordinating goody bag tag for this goody bag. The tag also follows the TRICK OR TREAT theme. It says, "TRICK ... most likely OR TREAT... Not!
The goody bag contains homemade painted cookies using edible paint.
**Remember, it is always best to use clean, new brushes when painting edible cookies or any edible food. Click HERE, HERE, and HERE for directions on how to make edible cookie paint.
***Speaking of food, it is time for BLOG CANDY!***
