Pictures of my FCCB Challenge Entry: Yummy Treat with a Shaped Card

This week we were asked to make a yummy treat project and (optional) the card/project could be shaped. I wanted to create something different, so I decided to make a Gingerbread Man and his house to go along with an invitation to a cookie swap:) YUMMY! This invitation would be sent as an email invitation to friends and would be sent with additional pictures so that it could be read.

I computer generated the invitation and added it to the base. The little stones on the path are actually the cutouts of the gingerbread cookie on the From My Kitchen Cricut cartridge.

The candy is cut from a circle using the Plantin SchoolBook Cricut cartridge then embossed using the Cuttlebug.

I had fun making this. Ginger snaps are actually one of my favorite cookies and the ones that I always make. My friends love them and always seem to eat all of them and ask for more:)
