christmas Around The Clock...#9

How to Incorporate Snowmen into your Holiday Decor
This was a fun challenge:) I decided to incorporate snowmen into my holiday decor (I'm 15, do I really have holiday decor?) by creating this vase that can be displayed on a table or counter or where ever you have some extra room:) I simply took a bud vase and filled it about 1/3 with uncooked pinto beans. I added my snowmen that are attached to stir sticks (like the kind you would use in coffee) and some pretty ribbon and there you have it.
Here is a close up of the snowmen. They are made using the Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge. Since this is a Cuttlebug challenge, I thought it would be really cute to emboss the snowmen. I used two different folders. The bodies are embossed with Swirls and the hats are embossed with Swiss Dots. I used googly eyes for a bit of interest:) I really enjoyed this project and liked how it turned out. Merry Christmas in July. Keep watching for more fun holiday projects.

  1. I've been a fan on FB for quite a while and have visited your blog several times, but somehow missed the fact that you were fifteen! I have to tell you that you are VERY well "spoken" for a sophomore in high school, and since I am a former English teacher, I have a pretty good sense of how most fifteen year olds write.

Additionally, you make amazing cards! It takes a lot of hard work and persistance to do what you are doing. Well done!
    TFS! :) Jessica

  2. Thank you Jessica:) I want to be a designer in school some day so this is a great experience for me. I need to raise money to play club volleyball so I started my own greeting card business because I love to create! I made enough to play last year now I am raising money for this year. I sell my cards on this blog. Thanks for following.
