Welcome to Funky Cards
Today is the first day of my spring break. Only 12 more days until my 17th birthday and just two more days until Easter Sunday and the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus! Happy Easter everyone.
Today I want to share with you the card I made for Emily for the I Feel the Love Project: April 2012
Emily
After reading Emily's bio and learning that she loves the color purple and cats, I incorporated these things into her card:) I hope she loves it:)
This personalized card was so fun to make and made with lots of love for Emily. The stamps, "I love your smile" and "You're the Best" are both from the "Our Kids" Pink By Design stamp set.
The digi stamp is from Anne Bodil. It was colored using Photoshop. From there it was transfered to the Cameo as a jpeg and then traced and released. An offset (or shadow) was added. The entire thing was printed and then cut (making sure that the cut was set to cut around the offset only). These are really quick directions. If anyone wants more info., please feel free to leave a comment and I will be glad to help you:)
Emily loves receiving cards and I am honored to be able to design and create a handmade card for her. Let's show her just how much we care. Please consider joining me in making a cheerful/thinking of you card for Emily. Cards like these can really help to brighten her day.
