Welcome to Funky Cards
Good morning. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and are looking forward to a fantastic new week. I wanted to share with you a card I recently made but had not yet posted. I was inspired to make this for someone special to give after a dance recital.
There are three different stamps used to make this card. They are from the Pink By Design stamp set called "Our Kids." They are simply lined up one after the other and stamped onto the paper. Brown ink was used to compliment the pink in the 3D dress.
The dress was cut using the Accents Essentials Cricut cartridge. This is a 3.5 inch scalloped circle scored between all scallops except for one. The one that was not scored was cut out and used as the top of the dress. The rest were accordion folded and used as the bottom half of the dress. The flowers were cut from the Formal Occasions Cricut cartridge.
I was pleased with how this card turned out. I liked the textures and colors and overall design of the card. What do you think? Leave me a comment. I would love to hear from you.
Thank you for stopping by.

This is really a sweet card Madison. I'm inspired to make one of these for my niece who's a ballerina. Thanks for the instructions on how to make the dress.
ReplyDeleteThis is ADORABLE! I love the skirt. What a great idea to make it have a 3d quaility. Wouldn't it be cute to add a little bit of pink tool to a card to make it look like a tutu?!?! Inspiration. :o)
