Welcome to Funky Cards and Jennifer's Birthday Bash Blog Hop:)
By now you can see that this blog hop is all about TURTLES. We were asked to consider using a turtle on our project. I wanted to do something a little different. My turtle is actually made of wood. I bought the turtle, which can be removed and kept for fun:) Since I designed a belated birthday card I thought it would be fun to give the recipient a little something while saying I'm sorry about being late with my birthday wishes.
The generated sentiment says, "Sorry I was so slow getting this in the mail.
Happy Belated Birthday."

oops forgot to say...I did have a pet snapping turtle when I was a young kid along with my brother and sister. Of course we couldn't play with it really because it would snap at us. LOL (I have no clue why we had it)

I actually did have a turtle, though I didn't buy him or anything. One day I noticed my dog playing with what I thought was a big rock. He was really going at it and I decided to take it away. Upon closer look I noticed it was a turtle. I don't know where it came from but it was completely muddy and looked dead. I noticed it move so I took it inside to clean it up. I kept it for a few days and then took it to a nearby pond to live the rest of his turtle life.
