Deck The Halls and Trim The Tree:)
So have you put up the Christmas tree yet or decorated the house? Well, according to tradition in my house, the Christmas tree goes up the day after Thanksgiving and the stockings are hung by the fireplace too:) So it is indeed beginning to look a lot like Christmas at my house.
For this challenge I decided to add some holiday cheer to the Christmas table. I designed a place card for everyone that included a menu of what we are having for Christmas Dinner this year. My mom has a storage container for each of us kids that stores things from our childhood. This is one more keepsake that we can put in our containers to remember our holidays at home:) We are going to send Dalton his place card since he won't be home for Christmas this year. As you know he will be celebrating away at boot camp with the Navy!
This project started with 8.5" x 4.5" white card stock which was then folded to make the base of the place card. It was covered with patterned paper measuring 4" x 4.25".
The actual name tag pieces can be cut to any width or length depending on the names you use. The white card stock in these photos were cut at .75" x 2.25", while the blue card stock was cut at 1" x 2.5".
As I mentioned, the inside of the place card is a menu.
This menu was computer generated and attached with an ATG gun. The snowflake was cut from the Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge.
This sounds so good. I can't wait for Christmas Dinner:)

This is what the entire table setting looks like.
It won't be long and we will all be sitting down to Christmas Dinner. I love the Christmas season and the celebration of the birth of Jesus:)
