Welcome to Funky Cards and
This is my first post as a Design Team member for My Cricut Craft Room. I want to thank Erica for this wonderful opportunity and to say hi to all of you who follow Card Creating Tuesday on a regular basis:) I hope to inspire you with my work and to encourage you to try something new! I will be sharing with you new cards that I have designed each week and adding a few tips that I have learned along the way.
This week I wanted to share with you a card I just made for a wedding. I have found that if you start with a piece of paper with a pattered background, then you can create a pretty card in no time.
In this case, I had a pretty background and all I needed was a simple die cut. I chose a silhouette of the bride in black. This was cut at 3" using the Sweethearts Cricut cartridge. The sentiment "Congratulations" is from the Pink By Design Vintage Greetings stamp set. It is popped up with pop dots to create an added dimension. Two pearls glued on a ribbon with my Zig Two Way glue pen complete the card. Simple, yet pretty:) You can always match the card's colors to the bride's wedding colors.
Thank you for stopping by! Be sure to stop by My Cricut Craft Room to see what the other Design Team members have in store for you today at Card Creating Tuesdays:)
