Lots of Love Blog Hop
**If you are looking for the Two Chics and a Birthday Hop click on the blinkie**
If you are looking for the LOTS OF LOVE BLOG HOP, you are in the right place!!
Welcome to LoveBug Creations' first ever Blog Hop
as we celebrate Valentine's Day.
If you arrived here from Zeni's blog, you are in the right place. If you happened here by chance, you may want to head back to the beginning to LoveBug Creations so you don't miss a thing!
For today's blog hop I designed and created a piece of hanging wall art for my craft room that I can hang during February for Valentine's Day or just leave up all year if I want!
I started by drawing what I thought I might want my finished project to look like. I came up with a hanging "LOVE" sign.
The red hearts are cut at 3.5" from the Sweethearts Cricut cartridge. They are double-sided and on the inside there is a 3.5" heart cut from foam so that the heart will hold its shape. The foam is attached to the paper heart with the ATG.

The letters for the word LOVE are cut at 2.5" from the Robotz Cricut cartridge. (I love the fonts on this cartridge!). The letters are attached to the red hearts with the ATG.
After the hearts were all assembled, silver wire that was left over from making a pair of earrings was thread through the hearts. At the bottom end you can see a decorative swirl, while at the top you can see a circle to hang the project on the shelf peg.
To finish off the project, a bow made of silver ribbon is tied to the top of the project.
And here is what it looks like in my craft room:
I really like how it turned out! I used things that I had left over from other projects. The wire was used to make earrings, the foam was used to make kids' projects and of course I always have a lot of paper scraps. And now I have a "LOVE" sign:)

If you happened here by chance, you may want to head back to the beginning so you don't miss any of the great projects. Click HERE. We have several exciting sponsors and give-a-ways for this hop so make sure you leave comments on all of the blogs:)
There is an interesting twist on this hop. We were asked to create a birthday card/project that was inspired by a holiday. I was born two days before Easter so my card is an Easter inspired birthday card.
Carrots and Easter eggs fill this cute Easter basket that was cut at 3" using the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge. The basket was stitched with a gel pen and for added interest adorned with gems:) The carrots and eggs can be found on the Create a Critter Cricut cartridge as well. The perfect sentiment for this card of course was, "Have a Eggs-ellent Birthday."
**BLOG CANDY ALERT**
I am offering a package of Funky Cards to a random winner who can dazzle me with an Eggs-ellent birthday story!! Your comment must state what made your most Eggs-ellent birthday "Eggs-ellent!" I am also asking you to consider becoming a follower of mine. That would really mean a lot to me:)
The great thing about this birthday/bloggerversary bash blog hop is that each stop will be so different. So many different holidays to choose from. It is time to hop on over to Shannon's blog to see what she has designed for you!!

Cooking With Cricut- Ground Hog Day Salute
Welcome to Cooking With Cricut Challenge # 15
Ground Hog Day Salute
The challenge this week is to create a project using a shadow in honor of the ground hog:) The shadow can be anywhere on your project.
My project this week is a wall hanging inspired by my brother, Dalton's, Navy graduation picture. And as a show of support to our troops, I am entering this into the FCCB challenge this week for a cause that I support!
The wall hanging includes a text box with his name, ship number, division number, and graduation date.
The wall hanging includes a text box with his name, ship number, division number, and graduation date.
The text box started as white card stock. It was distressed with two different colors of ink and then torn to achieve this look.
The shadow, and sailor hat were created from the Stand And Salute Cricut cartridge.
Here is a close up of the text box with the information added:)
The picture was shadowed with a rectangle. The stars and the word "Honor" were also cut from the Stand And Salute Cricut cartridge.
As you can see, it is really easy to take a favorite or special picture and make it into a keepsake. This is now hanging in the craft room, which was Dalton's bedroom! My mom loves it:) I hope I have inspired you to make something for yourself or for a friend.
There are many other projects to look at this week. Please take a moment to check out the other Design Team members' blogs at Cooking With Cricut to see what they have cooked up for you!! And remember, you have until next Tuesday to enter this week's challenge for a great prize!!
Thank you for stopping by!
