Another Card for SAFEHOME!!

Welcome to Funky Cards

As I hope you know by now, the I feel the Love Project is sending unsigned birthday cards to SAFEHOME for the month of August.
SAFEHOME is an organization that provides support for survivors of domestic violence in Kansas City, Kansas.  These birthday cards will be kept on hand for those staying at the SAFEHOME women's shelter to use when their moms, brothers or sisters have a birthday.  They will be free and we feel a blessing from our crafting community.  To learn more about this month's project click HERE.  I do hope you will join us for this special project.

The next card I made for this month's project included the Bear w Cupcake n Sprinkles DS from Papercraftingworld.com (PCW).

I decided to alter the image just a bit to show you once again that digi stamps can be very versatile.  I used Photoshop to alter the colors of the bear, the cupcake frosting, and the cupcake wrapper.

By editing this digi stamp in photoshop, you can see how it completely changes the look of the stamp.

One thing that I really like to do is combine digi stamps with Cricut cut outs.  This digi stamp is paired with the "celebrate" sentiment and the "candle" cut out from the Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge. The candle was embossed using the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder.  This card is ready to be sent to the shelter.  I will be making more this month and like I said before, I hope you will as well.  Spread the word!  You know how much I love spreading the love one card at a time.

Thank you for stopping by.  Have a fabulous day!
