Scraps Blog Hop- Day 2
and a New Project
If you arrived here today from Kerry's blog you are in the right place. If you happened here by chance, please click HERE to start at the beginning.
This blog hop is dedicated to scraps! We all have them! The question is do we all use them? I find that I use mine all the time because I store them in a way that makes them easy to find and convenient to get to.
My color scraps are kept in binders. Each color of the rainbow has a binder plus there is a binder for black and white.
Patterned paper has its own 12 x 12 bin (Top left). I just love my new desk!
Today I am going to show you three more cards I made using my paper scraps.
I find you can make quick and easy cards using your scraps if you cut the scraps just right. Here I just cut the paper so that the bird was the focal point and I just needed to add my sentiment and a bit of ribbon. In no time I had a pretty get well card.
This blank card can be used for any occasion. I love using brown and blue together, as you can probably tell by looking at pictures of my craft room:)
The background paper is always important for me when making cards. Here I used paper with different sized circles to compliment my butterflies. I really liked how this looked. I added the sentiment and it really took no time at all to design and create this thinking of you card.
So with nothing but ORGANIZED scraps, I created three new cards in just a few minutes. You can too! Just keep cleaning up when you are done and you will be happy the next time you start a project:)
